Shelter dog feels freedom outside her kennel, but when reality sets in, she refuses to go back
A heartwarming video on Instagram shows a shelter dog feeling the freedom and the warm sun outside her kennel. However, when she had to go back inside her kennel, she refused to move. The video has captured the hearts of many people on the internet. The caption of the post revealed that the dog is “five years old, sweet, affectionate, and a little bit shy.”
The caption continued, “She’s had a rough life, as this is the second time at the shelter.” It further disclosed that the shelter dog “hasn’t let her past affect her heart” and that she “trusts readily and meets everyone with a softly wagging tail.”
The Instagram video began by giving a closer look at the shelter dog. She was standing outside her kennel, in a yard. She was enjoying the sun. In the meantime, the text written over the clip reads that the fur baby “didn’t want to go back inside because outside was the only place she felt free.” As the clip went on, viewers could see the volunteer trying to get the dog to go inside her kennel. However, she refused to move as she was enjoying her freedom. The dog truly deserves a loving forever home, where she can be free.
