There’s nothing more heartbreaking than getting to witness a senior fur baby having to live at a shelter during their remaining time. This video captured a senior shelter dog named Money who was surrendered at his most vulnerable age and state, asking for a little love and dignity. @lancasteranimalslaco recently took to Instagram to post the emotional video. It has been gaining a lot of attention since then. The clip has received over 7K likes on Instagram at the time of writing.
Senior shelter dog wants to spend his remaining time in a loving home
A heartbreaking video on Instagram showcased a senior shelter dog named Money wanting to spend his remaining time in a loving home after his previous family surrendered him. The clip has captured the hearts of many people on social media. The caption of the post read, “Getting to his feet isn’t easy. His body is tired, and he has a health waiver for age-related mobility issues and lumps. But he’s gentle and calm.”
The caption continued, “Money asks for so little. At this stage, he deserves a quiet home, a comfortable bed, and someone who will give him love and dignity for whatever time he has left.” The caption also read, “If you can open your home, or even just help by sharing him, you could change everything for Money.”
The Instagram video began by giving a closer look at Money, the senior shelter dog. The fur baby was having trouble getting up. He was in an extremely vulnerable state. He was trembling. The dog had clear signs of sadness all over his face. Yet, he was very gentle and calm with the volunteers at the shelter.
Money is currently at Lancaster Animal Care Center at 5210 W. Ave I, Lancaster, CA 93536. The senior shelter dog truly deserves a home where he will feel the love and care during the remaining years of his life. The video will make anyone feel emotional.
