Dog Is ‘Fully Committed’ To Living the Toddler Life & Their Playtime Is Proof Enough

The children’s playroom has a very patient playmate, and Leila seems to wear the title very proudly. The chocolate Labrador is stretched out on the rug while a toddler carefully places colorful stacking rings around her legs.

In the video shared by @sugarrushtails, the dog barely reacts as one ring becomes two courtesy of the toddler. The whole thing leaves her looking more like a relaxed toy display than a dog who could simply walk away. The dog stays put, lets the toddler get on with it, and eventually ends up flat on her back with rings on several legs.

Dog becomes one with toddler’s toys during playtime

Leila is already lying on the rug when the toddler starts adding the colorful rings to her legs. One ring goes around a back leg, another lands on a different leg, and soon there are several in place. Leila does not seem bothered in the slightest.

She stays stretched out while the toddler concentrates on getting another ring onto one of her front legs. Then the clip cuts to Leila lying completely on her back, paws in the air, with the rings now looking like little bracelets. The toddler keeps adding more.

The scene is funny because Leila could get up whenever she wants. Instead, she stays there and lets the game continue. That easygoing attitude is very Lab-like. Chocolate Labradors are often known for being social, food-loving, and eager to be part of whatever the family is doing. Leila certainly seems to have taken the “include me” part seriously.

The video of the dog and the toddler has earned more than 4,900 likes, and viewers are clearly entertained by her patience. One person called her “fully committed to toddler life,” while another said she deserves the “patient pup award.” Someone else summed up the whole situation with, “Which one’s the toddler?”

The family’s caption says, “At this point I think Leila enjoys playing with the toddler toys,” and honestly, the evidence is sitting right there on the rug. For this dog, playtime apparently includes whatever the toddler happens to be doing.
