The Instagram video begins with a toddler trying to crawl under a gate instead of simply using the opening or asking for help. With his head and arms already underneath, the determined little boy continues inching forward while lying flat on the floor.
A few feet away, with his mouth slightly open, Ranger slowly wanders over to investigate. The Golden Retriever pauses and stares at the toddler with an expression viewers described as equal parts confused and judgmental. The video features the text, “Nobody judges my toddler more than my dog…”
The owner further leaned into the joke in the caption, writing, “We’re all judging him though.” While the toddler’s determination makes for a hilarious moment, Ranger’s priceless reaction steals the spotlight.
