A video shared on Instagram shows how there’s nothing more heartwarming than witnessing a rescue dog getting another chance at a happy and comfortable life. The video shows a rescue Doberman named Asher settling into his new forever home with his loving new family. The owner of the dog recently took to the popular social media platform to share the video through the account @axel.thedoberman. It has gone viral since then, gaining 224K likes on the social media platform so far.
Rescue Doberman embraces his second chance with a loving family
In the caption of the post, Asher’s owner wrote, “Adopting a rescue dog always comes with a little bit of uncertainty, especially when it’s a Doberman with a past you know nothing about.” After that, the pet parent revealed, “We definitely had those thoughts before bringing Asher home to Karma,” who is their other dog.
The owner further explains that “Sometimes a dog just needs a second chance to show you who they really are.” They continue, “And what we know about Asher, is that his past did not break his playful spirit.” The Instagram video begins by giving a close look at Asher standing inside his kennel at the shelter. Then the clip shows that Asher’s life changed forever after his owner adopted him and brought him to his new home, where his new furry friend, Karma, was waiting.
As the video goes on, viewers can see the two dogs instantly bonding with each other. They run around, play, and enjoy all the little joys of their lives together now. From the way that they show affection for one another and snuggle, it is quite clear that they are becoming the best of friends. One commenter on the video noted, “It’s beautiful anyway, but the last scene, resting together head to head? Pure beauty.”
