Two Dogs Share a Paddleboard, but One Booked a Cruise & the Other Signed Up for Adventure

The funny paddleboard dog’s video has picked up more than 1,400 likes. And viewers are getting a good look at the very different ways the two dogs handle paddleboarding. Ranger starts out watching every stroke of the paddle. As the board moves ahead, he follows the paddle from side to side, carefully making his way around the narrow space.

Khalee, however, has a different plan. She sits near her human’s feet and takes in the ride without getting involved. The canine did not follow the paddle like her brother. She was just enjoying the breeze.

Ranger, naturally, cannot leave things there. He tries to move around his human and get to the front of the board. The maneuver does not quite work. He slips straight into the water, and his human quickly leans over to pull him back up using the handle on his life jacket.

Ranger gets back onto the board and carries on as though nothing happened. A lesson has apparently not been learned. Soon he is testing the water with his paws while trying to balance on the board. This time he stays upright. Later, he climbs onto his human’s belly while she keeps paddling, then makes his way toward the edge again.

And off he goes into the water again. His human kneels down and lifts him out once more. Khalee watches the entire thing without changing her position. It is a pretty good example of how dogs’ different personalities can turn one activity into two completely separate experiences. One dog falls off the paddleboard twice while the other barely seems bothered by any of it.
