Large Marge has apparently decided that 6 p.m. is a perfectly respectable bedtime. The giant canine appears settled on her human’s bed as darkness arrives outside. Her family finds the timing hilarious, especially when Dad questions why she is retiring so early. Mom quickly comes to Marge’s defense. The sleepy Alabai barely reacts, except for a few sheepish looks while everyone debates whether she earned such an early night.
Dog’s cozy spot on the bed looks like the perfect place to end the day early
The Instagram reel from @largemargedog shows Marge already stretched across the bed at around 6 p.m. Her human explains that darkness has barely arrived, yet she seems completely ready for sleep. Marge is an Alabai, a livestock guardian breed known for its large size and independent nature. In this moment, however, guarding duties appear officially closed for the evening.
Dad looks at Marge and asks, “Is it after six o’clock even?” Once the time is confirmed, he declares, “Six o’clock in bed.” Mom immediately provides Marge with legal representation. “She worked so hard today,” she says from behind the camera. Dad is not convinced. “She has not done anything,” he replies. Marge answers with a sleepy expression that only strengthens Mom’s case.
When Dad asks about her “sheepish face,” Mom explains, “Cause she is getting scolded right now.” Marge remains tucked comfortably into the blankets. The whole exchange ends with Dad laughing about her early bedtime before saying goodnight. The caption describes the same routine as early dinner followed by an early bedtime schedule.
Her followers clearly understood the appeal. One commenter wrote, “You 3 are adorable.” Another noticed Marge’s expression and said, “She is smiiiiling, sweetheart.” Others joined the bedtime comedy. “Not JB FLETCHER,” one person joked. Another added, “You forgot to add BEAUTIFUL Old Lady.” One final comment summed up Marge’s priorities perfectly, writing, “Loves the slumber.”
